My Daughters' Step "Mom"

Just when it seems you took the wrong turn,
Through mistakes or disappointments somehow you learn;
The road you were traveling is all part of a plan,
To lead you toward two little girls’ hands.

Two daughters to hold, encourage and share,
A lifetime of memories and burdens to bear;
Unselfishly to give your heart, time and love,
To two little girls sent straight from above.

Two precious lives by no choice of their own,
Would have to grow up sharing two loving homes;
Two angels that God in all His wisdom knew,
Needed more than a Step-Mom, so He hand-picked you.

Thank you, Larissa,
for loving Kaitlynn and Emma
as if they were your own.
By, Harriette Glover
